Today I reviewed another 3 rolls of Eagle-Beacon microfilm. This round of newspapers yielded a bunch of baseball Hall-of-Famers: Wade Boggs (HOF 2005), Rod Carew (HOF 1991), Andre Dawson (HOF 2010), Rickey Henderson (HOF 2009), Reggie Jackson (HOF 1993), and Ozzie Smith (HOF 2002). It also contained other notable stars such as: Steve Garvey, Fred Lynn, Dale Murphy, Dave Righetti, and Dave Stieb. It seems the newspaper has steered away from College and minor league Kansas teams toward professional teams. Here is the latest addition to the 1983 Wichita Eagle-Beacon checklist:
