After a nearly two month hiatus, I have a new installment to the Wichita Eagle Beacon checklist.  I am only allowed to have 2 rolls of microfilm at a time now so the updates will be shorter.  I finished the 1983 set and and have moved to 1984.  There were several notable players with pre-rookie "cards" in this new grouping, as well as a very famous figure skater.  Here are the Hall of Fame highlights: Marcus Allen (Football HOF 2003) and Eric Dickerson (Football HOF 1999).

I reviewed another 3 rolls of microfilm today. The results were not as good as last time. Several baseball Hall-of-Famers: Jim Palmer (HOF 1990), Jack Morris (HOF 2018), Jim Rice (HOF 2009), and Mike Schmidt (HOF 1995). There were two football Hall-of-Famers: John Elway (HOF 2004) and Bob Griese (HOF 1990). Also in this group was Detroit Tiger great Lou Whitaker.
